**DESCRIPTION** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance. + Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components. + Assist with required documentation, such as work completed forms, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms. + Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. + Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. + Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation. + Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Mechanical trades qualified or automotive technician with heavy diesel qualification. + Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products. + Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience + Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities **QUALIFICATIONS** **Compensation and Benefits:** + Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary + Overtime penalties + Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program + PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles + Annual remuneration reviews + Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided **_At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
