Laboratory Technician I is a discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. Under general supervision conduct routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.

May provide records of such equipment and others to the customer representative at the customer site.

Works independently at times and works within a team to complete projects. Assists senior personnel in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting results for internal/external customers.

Carries out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual.

Communicates results to supervisor in detailed manner.
Performs other related duties and handles special projects, as assigned.
Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will:

Hold a certificate as a Mechanical Technician.Have basic English.Have effective problem identification and solution skills.Have good written and spoken communication, proven analytical and organizational ability.Have experience in an industrial plant environment.Experienced on running appropriate tests and process/procedures.
