Technician II (Mechanical)

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for maintenance and repair services of mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems. Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products. Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Monitors, repairs and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production. Provides mechanical and/ or electrical repair. Responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, data management, project support, control support and ISO audits support. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.Studies equipment performance and reliability.Responsible for equipment maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.Complete 3C (Concern, cause and corrective action) for every corrective/demand maintenance of plant equipment.Perform either 12-hours rotating shift or Non-shift works. Support operation (day/ night shift) if needed. Support the equipment qualification such as walkdown, punch list, commissioning, IQ/ OQ/ PQ on any new project.Execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.Lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.Take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects or JDI.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Nutritional preferred.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge on lean six sigma, kaizen and Kanban.Qualifications
ITC/ NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering/ Mechanical or related discipline or GCE "N/ O/ A" Level with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.
