In this role, you’ll help keep our facility, equipment, and systems running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. What You’ll Do

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric-powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forkliftsTroubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with MHE, including batteries, chargers, wiring, motors, and controlsUse maintenance software systems to log work orders, track performance metrics, and ensure accountabilityMaintain accurate service records and complete required documentationRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtimeAssist with or learn to maintain other facility systems, including:Fire suppression systemsOverhead doors, dock plates, and levelersFacility lighting and electrical systemsBattery changer equipment and charging stationsWarehouse racking and safety systemsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areaCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members about repairs and equipment needs

What You’ll Bring
Required:

2+ years of experience performing maintenance or repair work on electric-powered material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, motors, batteries, chargers, and wiringAbility to read and understand equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematicsWillingness to learn and support other warehouse maintenance systems, such as fire suppression, doors, dock equipment, racking, lighting, and battery handlingFamiliarity with or willingness to learn maintenance tracking software (CMMS)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsWilling and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to safely operate tools and powered equipment

Preferred:

Experience with battery changer systems or battery room safetyExperience using CMMS or digital work order systemsCertifications related to MHE repair, electrical safety, or equipment operationOSHA training or other safety-related certificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the shiftLift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basisWork in varying temperatures and warehouse environmentsUse hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectivelyVisually inspect equipment and parts for wear or damageFollow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE use
