PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide second-line maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, execute planned preventative maintenance, assist with planned, corrective, break-in work, condition based and predictive maintenance and perform fault-finding and a structured break down analysis on failed components.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
N6/S4 Industrial Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical (Trade Test Certificate) with a minimum of 5 years Electrical Industrial experience Experience in PLC, specifically Siemens S7 fault finding, reading electrical and basic mechanical drawings Exposure in 3 Phase motor understanding and Fault finding Install and Program Frequency drives and Process Instrumentation Computer literacy (MS Office) FMCG experience will be an advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare and execute planned maintenance activities Provide timeous feedback to the Maintenance Controller on deviations and on work to be completed Execute all daily, weekly and shutdown activities according to schedule Inform 3rd line support immediately for required repair and further support Record equipment downtime in area of responsibility to establish repetitive problems Manage backup lists of electrical settings for plant equipment Coach and train electrical learners to perform electrical maintenance Maintain health and safety standards Provide support to the operations team on the line Any other general adhoc duties as and when required
