The Role
As an Engineering Technician, you will support the reliability and performance of production and utility systems at our Olst manufacturing site. Working in full compliance with EHS, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations, you will play a hands‑on role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving technical installations.
Depending on your experience, the role may be more all‑round or more specialized, with opportunities to coordinate activities and support larger technical interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform corrective and preventive maintenanceAnalyze recurring failures and implement structural solutionsSupport inspections, overhauls, modifications, and optimization activitiesAccurately document work activities in line with GMP requirementsCoordinate and collaborate with internal colleagues and external contractorsEnsure safe, clean, and compliant workplaces before and during activitiesActively contribute to continuous improvement initiativesPromote a strong safety and quality culture on siteYour Profile
Technical education (vocational diploma or equivalent) in mechanics, electrical, mechatronics, automation, or similarExperience in a production or regulated environment (pharma, food, medical devices is a strong advantage)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with safety procedures and technical documentationTeam‑oriented, proactive, and quality‑driven mindsetGood command of Dutch (English is an advantage)What Abbott Offers
