Description:You will be the Technician Calibration Specialist for our team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of various measuring equipment and systems, playing a critical role in our operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Technician Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining a range of equipment, including electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical devices. You will also perform temperature measurements and adjustments on various temperature-controlled systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Calibrating and maintaining electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, pressure-type measuring equipment, torque wrenches, analyzers, power torques, and torque fastening systems
Performing temperature measurements and adjustments on ovens, chambers, refrigerators, freezers, and solder pots

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
-This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
-3 years of equivalent Metrology/Inspection experience
-Experience in calibrating both electronic and dimensional equipment.
-Experience in the use of calibration automation stations.
-Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, Access.
Desired Skills:
-A.S. Degree in a technical field OR 5 to 8 years of prior calibration experience.
-Prior USAF PMEL (or equivalent) training and experience.
-Knowledge of the ISO Standards, ANSI/NCSL Z-540, and ISO/IEC 17025.
-Metcal experience preferred
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
