VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time **Technician Assistant/Pet Care Attendant** to join our dedicated veterinary team. This role is perfect for someone who loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn more about veterinary medicine. We are a well-established, AAHA-accredited, emergency practice in Scottsdale, Arizona and due to the nature of our business hours, the candidate MUST be able to work some weekends and holidays. **Schedule: 15-20 hours a week. Sunday - Tuesday** **Responsibilities include:** + Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care + Walking, feeding, and monitoring hospitalized pets + Cleaning and maintaining kennels, treatment areas, and hospital facilities + Helping with patient restraint during exams or treatments + Supporting the medical team with daily tasks to ensure excellent care **Qualifications:** + Previous animal care experience preferred, but not required—training provided + Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask + Compassionate and patient demeanor with animals of all sizes and temperaments + Willingness to learn and be part of a team environment Why join VCA?
