**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description** + We are seeking skilled technicians capable of complex device assembly and testing, particularly within the realm of medical device manufacturing. + The role involves working on a small camera used for imaging testing inside devices. + A foundational understanding of computers, especially Excel, is essential, as candidates will undergo a basic onsite test involving copy/paste, saving documents, and using shortcuts. + 1st Shift Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, open to some Over Time, no weekends. **Responsibilities** + Perform a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation. + Package assembled components and gradually advance to more complex assembly tasks. + Conduct various assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal supervision. + Inspect work for defects, report deviations, and ensure quality standards are met. + Meet production targets and communicate progress to the supervisor. + Adhere to company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping, and personnel policies. + Comply with regulatory requirements in all tasks performed. + Perform additional tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in soldering, electro-mechanical tasks, troubleshooting, electrical testing, and Excel. + Experience with cable assembly, mechanical and electronic assembly, wiring, and schematic interpretation. + Ability to use hand tools effectively and read process sheets, schematics, and blueprints. + Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + GMP experience is required. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data input, saving, and file management. + Cleanroom experience is a plus. + Minimum of 2 years prior experience in assembly, wiring harnessing, and related tasks. **Why Work Here?** + Enjoy comprehensive benefits covered entirely by the company upon permanent placement. + Be part of an innovative work culture that values quality and precision. **Work Environment** + The position is based in a manufacturing environment focused on the assembly of medical devices. + The role requires physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds and moderate manual dexterity, with sensory activities including walking, talking, and hearing. + The use of a variety of hand tools is essential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
