We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Technician to join a leading Company located in the Riverside, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $30 - $35
The Technician Two is responsible for installing, training partners, and inspecting the quality of work on a variety of low-voltage solutions we offer our clients. The Technician Two supports programs that rely on relationships with business partners to provide a consistent, outstanding customer experience. The Technician Two will be instrumental in making sure quality is guaranteed, and training is consistent as we rely on more and more business partners.
Responsibilities:Act as a lead on site and direct, inspect, and audit technicians' work as neededPerform complete installation and service work on the customer site, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and testing, based on the scheduleProficient in five of ten areas of focus: Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burg Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, NetworkingProvide regular updates (email responses and deliverables) to Project Management Team(s), Resource Center, and Service Center in a timely manner, and act as a point of escalation for clients, providing resolutions whenever possibleAssist in the training of less experienced technicians in the scope of work and administrative tasksTake direction and learn from more experienced technicians on job sitesTrain subcontractors and technicians on theory and practices for reliable quality installationsComplete administrative job requirements in a timely fashionMaintain company vehicle and tools if assignedPerform other work-related duties as assigned by management
Basic Hiring Criteria:Minimum of two years as a Technician One or equivalent experience is requiredAvailability to work outside of normal scheduled work hours and ability to travel to achieve quality and schedule demands requiredMust have industry manufacturer certifications or equivalent structured cabling experienceMaintain LIFT and OSHA30 CertificationsMust complete and maintain local installer licenses and cardsMust complete and maintain BICSI Installer 1 certificationDemonstrated knowledge in key areas as outlined by managementMust complete HIPAA TrainingMust be willing to travel to support our business; travel may include working on long-term projects over multiple weeks at a time (US only)Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders to reach overhead ceiling areas, and lift up to 45lbsMust be flexible to work varying shifts based on business needsDemonstrate knowledge of multiple areas of technologies, including but not limited to: CCTV, BOSCH, and product-specific (Belden/Panduit), as outlined by the company
Desired Qualifications:Must have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbalMust be a self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills to run field projects with minimum directionMust have self-control to handle stress and provide exceptional customer serviceStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask Diverse knowledge of some of the following: network cabling, CCTV, Fire Alarm, intrusion, access control, and networkingBasic knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc)Laptop Knowledge
