**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description** Laborers will be responsible for reading construction design requirements to build trusses and wood panels in a yard setting. They will pick and stage lumber, cut it, and build components using hand and power tools. Instructions are displayed on TVs throughout the shop area, eliminating the need for physical paper blueprints. **Responsibilities** + Read construction design requirements and build trusses and wood panels. + Pick, stage, and cut lumber in a yard setting. + Use hand and power tools to build components. + Interpret written instructions displayed on TVs. + Repeatedly lift 50lbs and maintain physical activity for 8 hours at a time. **Essential Skills** + Previous construction experience working with lumber and hand/power tools. + Ability to interpret written instructions. + General labor skills including carpentry, concrete, and solar. + Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with tools such as drill, saw, hammer, nail gun, and tape measure. + Ability to handle lumber and interpret blueprints. **Why Work Here?** Experience stability, growth, and advancement opportunities in a company that has expanded from 14 to 51 employees since 2017. The first shift runs from 6:00AM to 2:30PM, Monday to Friday. Dress code is construction-required attire, including work pants, sweatshirts, gloves, and steel toe or carbon toe boots, depending on the weather. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
