**Job Title: Concrete Technician** **Job Description** As a Technician we are seeking skilled and reliable Concrete Finisher/Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete, from form setting to finishing, and be comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality work on a variety of construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, aligning them properly. + Check the construction of forms holding the concrete. + Level and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand/power trowels, hand/power screeds, and floats. + Produce rough concrete surfaces using a broom. + Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges. + Clean chipped areas using a wire brush. + Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure and waterproof or restore concrete surfaces. + Perform other duties as requested. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of experience in concrete construction, residential or commercial. + Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs throughout the day. + Proficient with hand tools and flatwork. + Experience in foundation construction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in concrete finishing. + Skilled in using hand/power trowels. + Experience with hand/power screeds and floats. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy overtime opportunities, advancement prospects as the company promotes from within, and performance-based end-of-year bonuses.
