**Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to perform quality checks and functionality tests on all systems. This role involves supervising and conducting necessary tests, scheduling preventative maintenance, and providing comprehensive documentation. The position requires a commitment to repairing, troubleshooting, and upgrading fare collection equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and perform all tests required by contract.
+ Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance work.
+ Document and log all preventative maintenance activities.
+ Repair subassemblies at a workbench and schedule maintenance work.
+ Track defective parts, shipments, and repairs.
+ Perform equipment upgrades and prepare repair reports.
+ Provide extensive quality support during all phases of device testing.
+ Install fare collection systems, including hardware, electrical connections, and sub-assemblies, once fully trained.
+ Support pre-installation and post-installation processes.
+ Manage, monitor, and control all inventory, shipping, receiving, packaging, and warehouse activities.
+ Enter information into software accurately and inspect incoming materials for damage.
+ Document, tag, and ship materials in adherence to sales orders or miscellaneous shippers.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 2-4 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, repair, installation, or large assembly.
+ Strong familiarity with tools and ability to follow schematics and blueprints.
+ Clean driver's license.
+ Ability to maintain composure under pressure when interacting with customers, authorities, and staff.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. regularly.
+ Capacity to stand, squat, bend, reach, kneel, twist, push, and pull.
+ Proficient in handling multiple tasks concurrently.
+ Repetitive hand use (keyboard, scanner, grasping, applying force).

**Work Environment**
This role is located in a small company in Arizona, specializing in the manufacture of parking, access systems, and fare collection systems. The work environment is supportive, with all necessary tools provided. The shift runs from 10 pm to 6 am, with training on days or 2nd shift for 4-6 weeks. Comfortable closed-toed shoes are recommended, and employees are provided with a company polo.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PHOENIX, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
