Job Description
The PCBA Technician role involves installing, repairing, and replacing both through-hole and surface mount technology packages, including Quad Flat Package (QFP), Ball Grid Array (BGA), chip components, small-outline integrated circuit (SOIC), axial, and radial components. You will perform solder operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards, maintain and operate various Printed Circuit Board Assembly Equipment, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position requires working safely according to established procedures and maintaining an orderly work area.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and replace through-hole and surface mount technology packages.Perform solder operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards.Maintain and operate various Printed Circuit Board Assembly Equipment.Observe all laws, regulations, and applicable obligations during business operations.Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with established procedures.Return tools, equipment, and materials to storage areas to maintain an orderly work area.Perform additional duties as assigned or required.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical, engineering, and electronics troubleshooting.Experience with mechanical systems and schematic interpretation.Ability to operate an oscilloscope and perform repair tasks.Competency with hand tools, wiring, and test equipment.Experience in installation, production, and PCB handling.Skills in calibration, power tool operation, and soldering.Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical or electronics products.Previous experience in manufacturing settings.Work Environment
The work is conducted onsite at the Tupelo, MS facility from Monday to Thursday, with ten-hour shifts. The environment involves hands-on tasks such as moving materials, staging for production, cleaning and preparing equipment, removing trash and scrap, assembling and disassembling products, and learning machine operations to support production. No relocation assistance is provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
