Process and inspect raw meats and proteins within the Fresh Foods Manufacturing Commissary.Job Description
Experience Required: 0 to 6 monthsEducation Desired: High school diploma or equivalentCertification or Licensing Desired: Food SafetyLifting Requirement: Up to 50 poundsAge Required: At least 18 years oldJob Responsibilities:
Documentation of volume metric yields, utilizing proper procedures and guidelines. Utilize both manual and automated methods to process meats. Control quality and production costs through strict adherence to recipes and production procedures, monitoring waste and loss, and improved work efficiencies.Detailed accuracy of staging, batching, and throughput metrics.Coordinate and perform equipment and plant Sanitation, as needed. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by ensuring that all food safety, food holding, temperature, Giant Eagle and OSHA standards are met.Maintain accurate production records, HACCP and QA documentation to ensure that all meet the federal, state, county and Company requirements.Inspect and evaluate equipment requirements to ensure efficiency and safety.Starting Rate of Pay
