Technical Writer - Chemist
Description Candidate will be responsible for technical writing and execution of existing validation and optimization efforts in the QC lab. Technical writing will include report writing, documenting test methods, protocols and specifications. Chemists will perform and document validation methods for HPLC instrumentation per Client SOPs, documenting per GDPs, and meeting all requirements of Client’s QMS. Focus is expected to be on HPLC, but Client can provide training on additional techniques like GC, KF and ICPMS where needed. Specific Tasks: • Prepare technical reports, test methods, protocols and specifications consistent with client's QMS requirements • Sample preparation and execution of existing validation methods for existing compounds o HPLC analysis • Optimize existing methods where possible • Capture and document all test method data in accordance with cGMPs Skills Hplc, Technical writing, Gmp Additional Skills & Qualifications This role will focus on technical writing for the initial six months, then shift to more of a hybrid lab and technical writing role. • 2+ years of experience for required capabilities • BS in Chemistry or similar • Experience running sample analysis via HPLC instrumentation • Experience documented via good documentation practices • Comfortable working with respirator, including PAPR Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
