Technical Writer and Site Planning Manager
**Technical Writer and Site Planning Manager** You are responsible for championing the development of service documentation and information towards Commercial Project Leaders. The role oversees the integration with other key business functions inside and outside of the BU MR. The role spearheads the development of a talent pipeline and leverages strategic partnerships with other BUs and MR R&D for serviceability innovations. As Technical Writing expert, you are responsible for guiding multi-disciplinary change projects and facilitating the development of comprehensive technical documentation to address complex challenges effectively, working under limited supervision. The role implements advanced technical writing strategies for complex problems, ensuring adherence to established standards while optimizing processes for superior documentation outcomes. The role handles large-scale technical writing projects, provides expert advice and guidance within specific functional areas to support colleagues in producing clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation. **Your Role:** + Guides multi-disciplinary change projects by facilitating the development of comprehensive technical documentation, synthesizing diverse insights to address complex challenges effectively. + Develops innovative solutions for technical writing issues of diverse scope, leveraging extensive knowledge of product data writing principles and applying a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving. + Formulates advanced technical writing strategies for complex problems that require novel approaches, synthesizing newly acquired knowledge to enhance documentation quality, working under limited supervision. + Handles large-scale technical writing projects, ensuring adherence to established standards and optimizing processes to achieve superior documentation outcomes. + Introduces new technical writing methods and procedures to improve organizational documentation practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives. + Ensures the quality and timeliness of technical documentation deliverables, adhering to project budgets, schedules, and other constraints. + Builds and leverages strategic partnerships with external innovation ecosystems (e.g., startups, universities, industry consortiums) to foster knowledge exchange and accelerate cutting-edge service innovation solutions. + Represents the organization as a thought leader on the global stage, spearheading industry-shaping initiatives and delivering keynote presentations at leading service innovation conferences. + Attracts, develops, and retains top talent in the service innovation domain, building a diverse and high-performing leadership team that fosters a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. + Spearheads the development of a talent pipeline by identifying and nurturing future leaders, fostering internal innovation champions, and promoting a culture of intrapreneurship. + Manages talent across the team, while driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and ensuring effective operational management. **You are fit if:** + Lead complex, multi‑disciplinary technical documentation initiatives and drive change at scale + Bring deep expertise in technical writing and product data, solving complex problems with innovative approaches + Manage large documentation programs, ensuring quality, standards compliance, and timely delivery + Drive continuous improvement by introducing AI tools, new methods, and processes + Build strong external partnerships and represent the organization as a thought leader + Attract, develop, and lead high‑performing teams while strengthening leadership pipelines. + Analytical, data-driven mindset with excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. **How we work together:** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
