Technical Writer

Summary: Seeking a Technical Writer to create and edit technical documents, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements:

Associate degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of experience in technical writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools like Adobe Acrobat and Visio.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with engineering teams and understanding of technical drawings. Familiarity with CAD software and product lifecycle management systems. Knowledge of CE standards and regulatory documentation practices. Experience with CNC machinery or precision equipment documentation.

Responsibilities:

Create and edit manuals, specifications, procedures, and reports. Collaborate with engineering staff for source material and technical details clarification. Organize document templates and maintain version control. Translate complex concepts into clear user-friendly documentation. Develop visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and schematics. Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Support product design reviews and contribute to documentation planning.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour
