CACI Is seeking a Technical Writer Responsible for producing, writing clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation to include inspection results, guides, white papers, manuals, procedures, plans, and proposals. Gathers information, interviews subject matt er experts, and conducts other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Program Manager, inspection teams, and subject matt er experts to gather technical detailsConduct independent research on industry standards and product specificationsCreate user whitepapers, design specification, technical reports and the likeOrganize and structure content being able to follow both customer templates and program needsDevelop templates and documentation frameworks to maintain consistencyDocument management and version control using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint and other online toolsAdapt writing style and complexity based on the target audienceEnsure compliance and standards adherenceWork closely with product managers, developers, QA teams and support teams to align documentation with product updates

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, journalism, or other relevant technical fi elds5+ years of related work experienceAs a substitute for education the candidate must have four years of industry experience as an effective technical writer.Strong writing, researching, and creating contentAbility to understand and explain complex technicalProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker)Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$38.93
