Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Technical Writer with a strong technical background-ideally someone who has previously worked in or closely with software development teams. In this role, the Technical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation that supports our engineering and software teams. This includes release notes, installation guides, API documentation, and scripting references. Key Responsibilities: * Interpret complex technical information and translate it into clear, concise, user-friendly documentation * Ensure documentation aligns with company standards and customer needs * Organize and publish content to internal and external platforms * Work across teams to gather requirements, verify technical accuracy, and incorporate feedback * Participate in content strategy, documentation planning, and version control processes Collaborate with engineering and development teams to create and maintain: * Release notes * Installation and configuration instructions * API and XML documentation * JavaScript and scripting reference guides
