FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support our new product development project launches, sustainability of released documentation for our products and communicate with our customers and stakeholders to maintain the requirements. This includes user manuals, installation and operation instructions, spare part documents, and supporting internal documentation for work instructions.
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an engineering or software development environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, MadCap Flare, Revit, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with content management systems and version control tools
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. UL, ASHRAE, AHRI, CE, ISO) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in manufacturing, HVAC, energy systems.
• Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with CAD drawings is a plus
• Understanding of Revit software’s and experience with it
• Agile or other software/product development methodologies.
