Technical Writer – Hardware

Summary: Seeking a Technical Writer specializing in hardware documentation to create and refine technical materials for engineering projects.

Requirements:

Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree Minimum of one year experience as a technical writer Ability to learn and understand complex subject matter quickly Experience collaborating with engineers on content refinement and visual creation Capacity to manage multiple writing assignments concurrently Professional certification (e.g., Society for Technical Communication)

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with hardware configuration items and mechanical drawings

Responsibilities:

Inspect hardware configurations and interpret various technical documents to create accurate documentation Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop procedure manuals and process documentation Produce comprehensive documentation adhering to organizational standards Translate complex product information into user-friendly content

Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
