Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to assist customers with inquiries and grievances through multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, online chat, and in-person interactions. The role involves providing product support, handling warranty information, and assisting with parts orders, product inquiries, and website navigation.

ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with inquiries and grievances through telephone, email, online chat, or in person.Provide product support, warranty information, and assist customers with parts orders, product inquiries, and website/portal navigation.Resolve product or service grievances by identifying the cause of the problem, determining the best solution, explaining the best course of action, executing, and completing follow-up.Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer grievances in a timely manner.Escalate customer complaints or questions to specialists or management, as appropriate.Assist customers with warranties, claims processing, certificates of origin, and more.Provide pricing, delivery, and order information for reimbursement or replacement parts.Ensure all actions comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.Complete other duties and cross-training activities as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of two years of customer service experience required.Mechanical, manufacturing, or parts advisor background required.Ability to type a minimum of 50+ words per minute.Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems, including operating computers and multi-line telephones.Advanced communication and active listening skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with metal fabrication and surge brake systems preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong time management skills to ensure customers receive prompt assistance.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to help where and when needed, beyond the scope of normal day-to-day duties.Technical support, sales order entry, warranty claims.Technical problem-solving ability.Mechanical or technical aptitude, particularly in automotive or boating industries.Strong interpersonal skills to work professionally with internal and external customers.Willingness to learn.Work Environment

This position is 100% in-office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
