Technical Support Representative (Tester)

**Introduction**
Technical Specialists in this job role will have expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements into control objectives, design security controls and implement them along with a security management cycle. Security specialists assist in finding the proper balance between enabling and securing in relation to the client's organization, culture and ecosystem. Typical examples of the deliverables include asset classification models, risk analysis reports, information security policies, security solution scenarios, implementation plans, organization models, procedures, security services, security effectiveness evaluation reports and security awareness workshops. Technical Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions. Individuals who are part of Support typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.
**Your role and responsibilities**
Analytical Problem Solving :
Shows developing skills in analytical thinking and begins to apply basic techniques to solve problems with some guidance. Recognizes patterns and trends in data with support.
Simplifies existing procedures by documenting and refining workflows, making it easier for team members to follow.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
Engages in independent analysis and discussions with peers to provide recommendations or solutions after considering various possibilities. Starts to use basic analytical tools to aid in problem identification.
Recommends and implements small-scale automation solutions that reduce time spent on routine tasks, increasing overall team efficiency.
Autonomy and Impact to the Organization:
Takes on greater responsibilities and shows a developing capacity to influence team goals and outcomes. Receives litlle instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Exercises some autonomy in decision-making, with supervision on complex topics. Typically focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating outputs for review by experienced team professionals.
Volunteers individual contributions aligned to collective goals.
Studies and begins to understand of the client's business, industry, market, & technology.
