Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Support Manager to lead technical engagement and support operations in India for a global specialty fluids company. This role will serve as the key technical interface between the company’s technology team, Indian customers, OEMs, testing labs, and blending partners. The candidate will support product development, trials, customer onboarding and technical resolution across a broad portfolio of coolant and lubricant products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main technical contact for all internal and external stakeholders in India, including OEMs, suppliers, blending partners, and test labs.

• Provide technical support to Sales teams and Customers (OEMs and aftermarket) – including technical queries, quality issues, and OEM approvals.

• Coordinate sample testing with labs such as ARAI and manage all lab-related operations and compliance.

• Perform trial blending and field trials with partners and contribute to product improvement and new product development.

• Develop and maintain a technical network with Tier-1 suppliers and certification bodies in the Indian market.

• Assist in identifying and working with local laboratories for test programs, product localization, and regulatory approval.

• Lead and participate in audits, product trials, vendor registrations, and customer feedback loops.

• Maintain alignment with corporate standards on Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ).

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in lubricants, coolant technology, lubricant additives, or water-based metalworking fluids.

• Strong technical knowledge of international and Indian standards for coolants/lubricants and OEM approval processes.

• Experience interacting independently with OEM technical and sales teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.

• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a customer-first attitude.

• Ability to work independently in a matrix organization across different time zones.

• Willingness to travel frequently across India.
