Responsibilities:
Learn, develop, and maintain technical aptitude across CHVAC products and systems.
· Provide reactive and proactive technical support to sales, projects, and service departments.
· Oversee commissioning projects that are new product, high value, and critical applications.
· Provide engineering support to service and sales departments.
· Liaise with the relevant factory regarding technical issues, diagnosis, and resolution.
· Liaise with service managers and FSR's on technical/warranty issues & updates.
· Source and distribute accordingly service bulletins relating to product range.
· Travel nationally/internationally as required to assist with technical/ warranty issues.
· Distribute/develop and present training packages relating to product range/HVAC industry.
· Maintain active presence in the field assisting with commissioning, warranty, and technical jobs.
· Liaise with contractors around commissioning and warranty requirements.
· Ensure commissioning projects completed to customer satisfaction.
· Identify, document, communicate and maintain updated work instructions and procedures for servicing, repairs, warranty, and commissioning.
· Auditing and assessment of warranty maintenance and commissioning allowances.
· Provide technical information and support on latest chiller/controller retrofits, upgrades, and remote monitoring.
· Assist in resolving outstanding warranty claims and disputes with customers.
· Assist with parts identification and alternative sourcing.
