We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Technical Specialist** to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for performing the Technical Support activities for the Contracts Unit in the Engineering Department, and will assist the Contracts and Reporting Manager to ensure the effective operations of the Contracts Unit. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Assists in management matters and supporting activities of the Director, Manager, Sections Managers and the other staff of the Engineering Department, particularly in relation to the RFP packages, Task Order Packages, correspondences, invoices and progress reports. + Assist in the preparation of technical closeout of Engineering Services Contracts. + Assists in the reviews and advises the Section Managers on the JCPDI procedures, including; reviewing of the documents, any reports and ensuring that the standards are met. + Assists with the Engineering Department official documentation and correspondence systems and process receiving and dispatching log. + Knowledge of using job related software and systems e.g. Morasalat, Mawarid, Unifier is preferred. + Assists in carrying out the Engineering Department coordination for the Director / Manager / Section Managers and liaise with other JCPDI Departments and Divisions. + Performs technical support for the Director / Manager / Section Managers. + Performs any other duties as directed by the Contracts and Reporting Manager + In-depth knowledge of document flow and management, dispatch, transfer and distribution to different Departments through the Morasalat system. + Conduct pre-bid meetings and arrange site visits for bidders. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 6+ years of project’s technical support and coordination experience for engineering activities. + Must have experience in preparing reports, PowerPoint presentations and technical support. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Must have strong communication skills in the English Language, writing and speaking. Arabic skills are preferred but not mandatory. + The candidate should have a strong Technical Office/Document Management software background and must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. + The candidate must be detailed oriented, with strong analytical skills and time management.
