Job Title: Technical SETA



Location: Arlington, VA – Hybrid Remote



Eligibility: Candidate must possess a TS/SCI and be willing to obtain a

CI Polygraph



Job Description:



The successful candidate will support the DARPA program manager by

participating in or leading all activities in project management,

technical and programmatic risk analysis, and program-funded test

coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating

meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer

outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are

followed by performers, independent verification and validation (IV&V)

entities funded by DARPA, and within DARPA itself.



The ideal candidate’s specific areas of interest and knowledge should

include mechanical or electrical engineering educational background with

knowledge and expertise in topics related to technical writing,

technical documentation and program coordination. The successful

candidate will provide technical action officer-like duties.



Responsibilities:



- Supporting the PM team with technical action officer-like duties

including:



- Developing technical documentation and briefs to communicate

program status



- Coordinating activities that drive efficient execution of

programs, YFAs, SBIRs



- Developing plans, making recommendations, and facilitating

efficient operations across the entire portfolio



Requirements:



- Knowledge and expertise in technical writing and technical

documentation to include:



- Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to

perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents

and presentations



- Strong communication skills - both written (including

PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to work with the PM’s team to

concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential

elements of the portfolio



- Strong data visualization and advanced analytics skills to include:



- Ability to visually communicate concepts and data, both

qualitatively and quantitatively



- Proficiency in analytics software like Tableau, PowerBi, and

Python



- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal

oversight



- Enthusiasm for learning and taking on new responsibilities as

required



- Present in the building as required



Desired capabilities and characteristics:



- Mechanical or electrical engineering educational background



- Energetic self-starter



- Proficiency, patience, and persistence navigating bureaucracy
