The Role:
As TechnicalServices Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the delivery ofintegrated facilities management services for Microsoft’s UK sites. You’ll work closely with site teams, ensuring technical operations are compliant, efficient, and continually improving.
This is aclient-facing leadership role, requiring regular site visits, technicalmentorship, audit oversight, and emergency response support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and operational support across the UK portfolioConduct audits and drive compliance with Sodexo and legal standardsSupport and mentor Technical Services Supervisors, including direct management at EnfieldChampion a zero-harm safety culture and promote best practice in contractor managementOffer subject matter expertise on OPEX/CAPEX planning, lifecycle asset management, and project supportBuild and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Microsoft and Sodexo teamsWhat We’re Looking For:
Engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 5 or equivalent)Professional accreditation or working towards (e.g. IET, RICS, IWFM)Strong knowledge of engineering standards, H&S compliance, and risk managementHands-on experience with vendor management, auditing, and technical mentoringExcellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsIT literate with experience using CMMS and business applicationsBonus Points:
Membership of a relevant professional bodyExperience in the corporate or technology sectorProven ability to lead technical investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
