About the role

Provide technical service support and innovation leadership in mining technologies. The role will focus on process optimization, and technical trials to deliver value to customers while supporting the commercialization of new solutions.

1. Service Support

Assist with optimization and troubleshooting of Solenis mining and water technologies at customer operations.

Provide on-site technical support and recommendations to ensure efficient plant performance.

2. Innovation & Technology Development

Collaborate with the sales team to identify and evaluate customer needs and new opportunities.

Work closely with R&D throughout the technology development process, including lab testing, plant trials, and data analysis.

Support the assessment of the full value of new technologies during commercialization.

3. Process Optimization & Water Management

Lead technical support activities for the Nickel, Cobalt, Iron, Gold, Coal,  application including unit operations such as mining, crushing, grinding, separation, concentration, and refining.

Optimize mineral flotation, process scale control, foam control, thickening/clarification, water treatment, and total water management.

Improve chemical application and operational controls by leveraging chemical modelling, data analysis, and plant operating parameters.

Assist with deployment and optimization of Solenis mining and water technology solutions.

4. Plant Technical Trials

Develop detailed trial plans by assessing historical operational data and customer KPIs.

Define criteria for success aligned with the Discovery Agreement.

Establish real-time data acquisition and key performance indicators.

Provide trial support by working closely with Metallurgy and Operations staff to optimize performance during tests.

Deliver post-trial support through data analysis, reporting, and recommendations.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of mineral processing and water treatment.

Hands-on experience with chemical applications, modelling, and data analysis.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales/marketing, R&D, Operations).

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Customer-oriented mindset with ability to translate technical findings into business value.
