We are seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead and manage the Confectionery & Bakery application team. This role provides technical expertise and guidance to customers and works closely with the commercial team to promote, build and maintain business in this area. The Technical Service Manager oversees and manages technical projects, from initial customer inquiry to final product implementation. This person is a strong resource to the Technical Director and provides support for the Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain and General Management functions.

What you’ll do:

Manage and support the application team focused on confectionery and bakery, ensuring smooth operations and goal achievementServe as the main technical advisor to customers, understanding their needs and delivering precise solutionsRecommend the best products aligned with customer requirements and compliance guidelinesDevelop and share technical solutions and concepts requested by internal teamsConduct training and workshops on topics like color stability, application methods, and regulatory complianceShape and execute a focused market strategy tailored to confectionery and bakery segmentsSupport product innovation by identifying market trends and customer needs, collaborating closely with marketing and research teams

What you’ll bring:

Advanced education in food technology, food science, or a related field Proficiency in multiple languages including German and English, and solid computer skills, ideally skilled in JDE and SalesforceIdeally a master's degree in food technology, food science or equivalent area of study Proven experience in application technology within the confectionery or bakery sectorsStrong leadership skills with experience managing teamsExcellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks based on business impactCreative problem-solving skills with an analytical mindsetComfort working in both laboratory and manufacturing environmentsWillingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
