Technical Senior Consultant – Risk Data Management

Work you’ll do
As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals while building your professional skills in a variety of analytical techniques and industry specialties. The Senior Consultant is a key contributor in providing data and analytics solutions to our clients, and you will have following roles:
Designing and implementing solutions to various data related technical challenges such as data architecture, data platforms, data solution implementation, data catalog implementation, data quality and data securityLeveraging data analytics tools/software build robust and scalable solutionsIntegrating and/or piloting next-generation technologies such as cloud platforms, machine learning and Generative AI (GenAI)Working with clients to understand their challenges and requirementsDeveloping custom scripts, APIs and algorithms to automate data processing integration and analysis to generate insightsPresenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, impactful mannerFacilitating change management processes to ensure smooth adaptation of new processes / data practicesData Catalog Implementation and Management experience: Able to lead the implementation and configuration of the data catalog platforms. Able to manage and maintain the catalog environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Able to develop and enforce best practices for data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage.Data Governance and Compliance Experience: Ability to collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies and standards. Awareness and experience of compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data governance policies to consider in implementation. Able to develop, monitor and report on data quality metrics and governance KPIs.Data Integration and Management experience: Experience of integrating data catalogs such as Alation and Collibra with various data sources, databases, and BI tools. Ability to develop and maintain data integration workflows and processes.User Training and Support experience: Experience of providing training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the data catalog platforms. Ability to build and maintain user documentation, training materials, and best practice guides. Extensive experience of data discovery, analysis, and reporting tasks.Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify opportunities for improving data catalog functionality and user experience. Stay up to date with the latest catalog platform features, updates, and industry best practices. Experience of participating in data governance and data management forums and communities.The Team

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, data engineering, data science or data analyticsProficiency in tools in the following areas:Scripting and Programming (e.g., Python, SQL, R, Java, Scala, etc.)Big Data Tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala, Mahout, etc.)Cloud Technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure SQL Server, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)Data Management (e.g., Alation, Informatica, Collibra, etc.)Predictive Analytics (e.g., Python, IBM SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, RPL, Matl, etc.)Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, TIBCO-Spotfire, CliqView, SPSS, etc.)Data Mining (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)Experience in:Managing technical data projectsData Catalog Implementation ExperienceLeveraging data analytics tools/software to develop solutionsDeveloping statistical model tools and techniquesDeveloping data services and solutions in a cloud environmentDesigning data architectureAnalyzing complex data sets & communicating findings effectivelyProven track record of effective communication (written and verbal) and complex problem solving in fast paced environmentsLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you servePreferred:
