As a Technical Sales Specialist in Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key role in leading our cell culture and cell therapy business across your assigned territory. You'll be the critical link between our customers, regional account teams, and the global business unit. Together, we drive scientific innovation and business growth!
Key Responsibilities
Engage in internal alignment calls and customer meetings to support product strategy for cell culture and cell therapy portfolios.
Collaborate closely with Bioproduction Account Managers (BAMs) to co-develop and implement account growth strategies.
Provide impactful onboarding and strategic sales training to BAMs, assisting them in improving their commercial abilities and product knowledge.
Identify and develop new business opportunities using our comprehensive product portfolio— how will you help customers grow with us?
Respond promptly to marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and provide first-level responses to technical inquiries.
Coordinate and manage key product evaluations, monitoring progress to improve conversion success.
Partner with Field Application Scientists (FASs) to deliver tailored technical support and in-depth discussions with customers.
Represent our cell culture-related solutions to potential customers with confidence, technical depth, and market insight.
Align with Global and APJ teams to help shape regional go-to-market strategies and jointly build robust sales pipelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or relevant major such as cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc. (Master’s degree preferred)
Requires minimum of 5+ years of biopharma industries or the related commercial organizations, but more than 7 years is preferred
Experience in selling or using cell culture media products
Good understanding of bioprocess and its applications used in the Bio-pharmaceutical, Biotech, vaccine industries
Fluent in Korean(must), sufficient English communication skills in speaking, listening and writing
Proficient using skills in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Sales Force.com (SFDC)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
