Position overview

We are looking for Technical Sales Specialist who provides solutions, product and systems expertise to support solution definition. Your role will be to support positioning and go-to-market strategy development. Acting as a solution advisor internally, with product / service colleagues, and externally with customers. Contribution to portfolio roadmap development and promotion, opportunity identification, qualification and decision-making around local specification and pricing are part of this role.

 

Key responsibilities

Selling services solutions across geographies, segments and /or industries Work with regional sales teams to develop GTM strategies and planning for assigned products Help to define and provide the value proposition for assigned products, leveraging knowledge of both the customer and the Diebold Nixdorf solution Act as a technical sales liaison and manages escalations into product and systems software management Assist with translating customer needs in our retail IT solutions, including system configuration and pricing Contribute to the pre-sales process, helping coordinate resources, with proposal construction and contributing to preparation of RFP responses Support the integration and ongoing evaluation of customers´ systems Typical contact at senior management level and may have limited exposure to executive level decision makers

 

Required qualification

Advanced experience in Technical Sales Expert role Consultative sales experience with complex solution design within retail and commercial experience Deep understanding of self-service solutions Solid understanding of to self-service related software solutions and Retail IT infrastructure Fluent communication in Italian language (written and spoken)- at least C1 level Good business English skills (written and spoken)- at least B2 level Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship building skills  Willingness to participate on-site in Milan (50%)
