Are you an experienced Technical Sales professional with deep expertise in Wireline Cased-Hole Logging and Perforating operations? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving technical sales, managing client relationships, and expanding market reach across Australia and internationally.
This full-time, remote position requires regular travel (approximately 40%) to client sites, trade shows, and team events. You’ll serve as a key liaison between customers, distribution centres, and manufacturing—ensuring smooth, efficient, and technically sound service delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Sales Manager to create and implement strategic sales plans.
Conduct in-person client visits and submit detailed follow-up reports outlining discussions and action plans.
Reconnect with dormant clients and explore opportunities to regain their business.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical overviews.
Respond to quote requests and provide timely, professional support on pricing, delivery, and product specifications.
Process accurate sales orders in a timely manner and maintain CRM records.
Support collection efforts by liaising with customers on overdue accounts.
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and industry trends.
Represent the company at trade events and client entertainment functions in accordance with company policy.
Travel to customer sites for sales calls, training, issue resolution, and relationship building.
About YouBachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
10+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally in oil & gas or energy services.
Strong knowledge of Wireline Cased-Hole Logging and Perforating operations.
Proven ability to build relationships and close sales in technical markets.
Well-versed in the Australian energy sector with strong commercial insight.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills (oral and written).
Comfortable using software for quoting, inventory, and reporting.
Able to travel (domestically and internationally) without restrictions.
Valid Australian driver’s licence required.
