Technical Sales and Product Manager – food ingredients

Role overview: this role combines technical sales and product management responsibilities within the food ingredients portfolio. You will be responsible for developing the business nationally, managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, and translating customer needs into compliant and commercially viable solutions.

 

Location:

Bucharest, Romania Regular national travel required

 

Key responsibilities

Manage sales and product portfolio for food industry raw materials Develop and grow relationships with existing and new customers Identify new product and application opportunities based on market trends and client needs Provide technical and commercial support to food producers Actively prospect customers in segments such as meat processing, bakery, and ingredient manufacturing Monitor and achieve sales targets through structured planning and execution Scout and evaluate new raw materials relevant to the local food market Analyze market dynamics and contribute to go-to-market strategies

 

Candidate profile

University degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related natural science field Proven experience in technical sales and or product management within the food industry or chemical distribution Hands-on exposure to food ingredients used in: Meat processing (additives, preservatives, flavorings) Bakery (enzymes, emulsifiers, improvers) Ingredient manufacturing (starches, proteins, fibers, etc.)

 

Required skills

Strong negotiation and decision-making capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to combine technical understanding with commercial thinking Fluent Romanian and English, written and spoken High mobility and availability for frequent travel within Romania
