Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Risk Analyst working in T&O’s Supplier Management Office (SMO). You will be enabling quality assurance on T&O’s third-party due diligence within RBC’s SRMA (Supplier Risk Management Application) system equipping the business and our partners with meaningful insights and actionable advice on their third-party engagements.This role is essential in supporting the identification and mitigation of inaccuracy in our third-party engagements. As a result of work performed as part of this role, you will greatly contribute towards the implementation aimed at improving of our data and by extension the critical aspects of our portfolio.
Your expertise will be crucial in driving change and overall improvement across the T&Os organization’s approach to theirs SRMAs.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
This role will contribute to and execute on the T&O-wide strategy to support the requirements for our T&O arrangements aligned to Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) that allow for an integrated approach to governance, management processes and tools.In accordance with the Enterprise Policy on Third Party and Intra-Group Service Providers, this role will be a key team member of T&O’s Supplier Management Office, responsible for contributing to the third-party engagement risk management, governance and reporting across T&O.Contributes to the strategic direction and thought leadership for the discipline of supplier engagement risk management across T&O to drive improved risk management and remediation to ensure T&O maintains the appropriate risk posture.Responsible for contributing to the holistic third party risk management practices for T&O and any enhanced regulatory requirements. Also responsible for driving automation and enhancements in the existing processes to make them more effective and efficient.Ensure the effective management & implementation of the appropriate controls for all T&O risk assessments, aligned to TPRM policies and standards through third party engagement assessment assurance, performance management assurance, exit strategy assurance, and contract assuranceUse your knowledge of technology (software, hardware, telecom or cyber security) to drive the right conversations with the engagement owners and technology teams to ensure compliance with the Third Party Risk (TPR) policies and standards and OSFI B10 guidelines.Utilize all available tools (e.g. RBC Assist, approved AI channels) to streamline information gathering and summarizing activities as well as investigating supplier adherence to regulatory requirementsInteract daily across businesses on the full range of third party engagements related to compliance, multi discipline service quality, and/or transformational change (processes and technologies)WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have:
5+ years’ experience in risk management or supplier managementStrong understanding of technology and automation tools to apply to existing processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.Strong understanding of technology from a software, cloud, telecom or cyber security perspective5+ years in the financial services or other regulated industriesStrong business and financial acumen plus operational mindsetDemonstrated ability collaborate across multiple business and functional teams.Nice-to-have:
