This position provides technical records support to professional staff within the Department’s Child Welfare Program. The incumbent will need a special eye for attention to detail, be organized, self-motivated, with good customer service skills. This position is not eligible for telework. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Typically gained by one year of full-time work experience. + Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems. Typically gained by one year of full-time work experience. + Experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments. These complex decisions could have affected the social or economic well-being of others or would result in a service or action being denied. Typically gained by one year of work experience. + Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system. Typically gained by six months of work experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants. + Experience working in: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Typically gained by at least 6 months of experience where these products were used daily as part of job requirements.
