Technical Quality Reporting Supervisor

 

Purpose of the role

Ensures effective monitoring of processing operations and maintain the proper functioning of quality control equipment and packed product management. Oversees the preparation of manuals, reports, and operational documentation, validate final products, consolidate data and performance indicators, and manage tobacco sample preparation and shipment. Additionally, supports budget control, conducts critical analyses, develops tools for performance evaluation, and provides assistance to internal and external stakeholder

 

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze daily information arising from processing and quality indicators, respecting deadlines for stakeholders. Ensure the production validation methodology,as well as the correct qualitative status for the volumes produced. Analyze results, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement. Support daily routines and monitor activities within the maintenance area QC (Quality Control) equipments. Support daily routines and monitor activities within the QC (Quality Control) Operational area & ensuring the correct execution of the tests. Lead the team of directly reporting seasonal employees by providing clear information and guidance for the execution of tests and procedures. Develop, train, and periodically evaluate both permanent and seasonal employees to support Technical Quality (TQ) enviroment growth.
Prepare and update TQ (Technical Quality) manuals, procedures. Ensure document control and standardization to promote continuous quality improvement. Act in accordance with Integrated Management System procedures. Perform purchase requisitions for the area (Opex). Monitor monthly expenses and make adjustments when necessary.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Production Engineering, Industrial Production Management, or related fields. 3 years of experience in Technical Quality routines (Quality Control) or activities related to tobacco processing industry.  Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of tobacco production programs and procedures, including infestation prevention, quality standards, and contamination control, supported by strong routine planning and problem solving capabilities. 
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a results oriented approach when working in operational environments.
