Technical Project Manager III

As a Technical Project Manager III in J.P. Morgan Intraday Liquidity and Cash Asset Platform,  you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. We have used Agile to iterate quickly and deliver functionality rapidly to the business.  The technology solution provides stakeholders a real time view of the firm's liquidity intraday, calculates the firm's intraday positions, generates and sends alerts when specified indicators and limits are breached, enables Cash Management to fund the firms Nostro Accounts, and has a repository of data for management and regulatory reporting.  The technology team is comprised of around 100 people globally through APAC, EMEA and WHEM, and is working on, amongst other things, cash projection and funding tools to measure and predict liquidity needs, reporting for management information and regulatory submissions.. 

A Project Manager is being sought to play a critical role on helping to drive the build out of the Liquidity and Cash Management functions globally across APAC, EMEA and WHEM.  

Job responsibilities

Works with both business and technology to breakdown requirements to a prioritized iterative delivery schedule.Creates and maintains plans with dates and deliverablesIdentifies potential issues and risks, define mitigation strategies and escalate accordinglyCommunicates project progress clearly and overall status reportingWorks pro-actively with your partners to define and offer solutions to issuesManages timeline, scope and milestone deliveryOwns and co-ordinates weekly meetings with scrum team and business stakeholders to track and report statusCreates concise high quality reports, presentations/ power point deck, communication materials for senior management. Articulate key messages in high quality visual PowerPoint presentationsWorks collaboratively with team members across line of business and cross functional teams. Ability to drive and facilitate discussions and activities across functional teams.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environmentPractical experience of project delivery in an AGILE environmentExperience in project managing multiple projects.Experienced in operating within the full software delivery lifecycle.Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior executives, team members and peers; build relationships, and obtain required information from partners at all levels; assessing needs, understanding requirements and syndicate solutions Excellent oral and written communication skills
