We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage complex projects, identify gaps, communicate with stakeholders and implement best practices for our customers and internal teams. This position will involve intense collaboration with subject matter experts within our organization and the customer on a technical level to implement solutions for customer pain points. You will be instrumental in driving processes and communications to product teams, ensuring the successful deployment of healthcare management technology to deployed military treatment facilities and installations worldwide.
The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers missions. **What You ll Do:**
+ Execute projects as the responsible party; track progress, communicate status and ensure successful completion of all milestones, metrics, and final deliverables.
+ Continuously engage customers to understand further pain points and areas for more project developments, serving as the primary liaison to customers.
+ Provide regular touch points with internal teams to update on customer use cases and workflows that our current software solutions do not yet provide a solution for.
+ Evaluate project timings with customers and adjust resource needs for customer pursuits based on their requirements and feedback discussion.
+ Support product management leadership in driving processes and communications to product teams, including facilitating transition of ownership from customer requirements management team to product development teams.
+ Support an Agile Framework and provide Agile Project Management support to assist with the intake, planning, acquisition, and execution of current product lines.
+ Own the solution roadmap; ensure alignment between the solution roadmap and overall Capability Roadmap.
+ Serve as decision authority for solution direction, making tradeoffs based on cost, schedule, and performance.
+ Act as an Agile evangelist, practicing adaptive leadership by ensuring that the team adapts its processes to meet changing needs.
+ Serve as the face of the BATDOK line of products to internal as well as external stakeholders.
+ Coordinate with other external product development Teams, BATDOK team lead, and overall BAE Systems, Inc. contract program manager.
+ Stay current with development process trends and technologies to continually improve our processes and products.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ BS/BA in related field plus 6 years or more related experience.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ 3 years of professional experience as a Product Manager or similar field.
+ Demonstrated knowledge in both software and hardware aspects of software development and testing.
+ Experience developing and delivering technical scope of work.
+ Hands-on experience managing complex projects.
+ Experience with Cost, Schedule, and Performance Management.
+ Experience developing detailed schedules and tracking and reporting status.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
+ Solid communication skills.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ A current, active Secret security clearance.
+ Agile Certification (SAFe Agile Product Owner, Product Manager and/or Certified Scrum Master).
+ Experience in the health IT industry, HL7 data formats, and with medical devices.
+ Experience working directly with DOD clients supporting DOD software use cases.
+ Experience transitioning Products from Development to Operations.
+ Experience with operational medical care and or the military community; active-duty military experience.
+ Experience with Products leveraging AI/ML technologies.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
