The Opportunity:
CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for an academically accomplished and technically oriented individual who is looking for a paid internship during the summer of 2026! The internship will begin in May and last for 12 weeks. You will be part of a team that specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance RF components and systems that are critical for modern communication, defense, and aerospace applications. You will assist the program management team and provide support across the project life cycle of various efforts. You will monitor and oversee the completion of project tasks and will work under the direction of a Project or Program Manager. This position will be fully on-site, and the selected candidate will be expected to work at our Melbourne, FL office.


Responsibilities:
As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to impactful projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting program/project managers in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverablesSupporting the development and maintenance of project documentation, such as timelines, status reports, and risk logsCoordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting key takeaways and action itemsMonitoring project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure timely completionConducting research and gathering data to support project decision-makingFacilitating communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project executionIdentifying risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvementsMaintaining integrated master schedules and customer reports as neededAssisting in the creation of presentations and reports for project updatesProviding general administrative support to project management teams as required



Qualifications:

Required: 

Must be a graduating high school senior with demonstrated academic achievement OR a current full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate student, preferably in Project Management, Operations, or a technical or related fieldMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for
employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project is a plusAbility to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment

Strong interpersonal and presentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPreferred experience includes previous internships in a program management-related field

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,400 - $60,700
