We are particularly interested in hiring people who have experience in taking ideas from concept stage to pre-product stage. **The Role:** In this role, you will be working with the rapid evaluation team on sourcing and assessing the next generation of X moonshot projects. As the Technical Program Manager, you will be the organizational backbone of our team. **How you will make 10x Impact:** + **Organization:** Help organize the team including managing deadlines, facilitating efficient team meetings, and maintaining clear communication. + **Partnerships:** Cultivate strong day-to-day relationships and working norms with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and clear communication to meet shared objectives. Facilitate partner meetings including generative firehoses and brainstorms. + **Documentation:** Ensure clear documentation and prepare presentations to communicate project progress, insights, and outcomes. + **Performance:** Help define and track KPIs and milestones to keep us on track. + **Financials & Contracts:** Assist with budget tracking and managing external vendor relationships and contracts when applicable. **What you should have:** + Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics), or equivalent practical experience. + 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or a related role. + Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts, systems, and challenges. Comfort engaging with engineers and researchers on deep technical topics. + Experience initiating and managing strategic partnerships, including contract and vendor management. + Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. **It would be great if you also had:** + Master's or PhD in a technical field or a related management discipline. + Prior experience in R&D, advanced technology development, or rapid iteration environments where quick feedback loops and experimental methodologies are key. + Experience defining, tracking, and utilizing KPIs to drive project quality, evaluate impact, and inform strategic decisions. Familiarity with data analysis tools or methodologies. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000 - $242,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
