BBN’s Network & Cyber Technologies (NCT) team leverages math, engineering, and physics to tackle customer challenges in network and communications, EW, and cyber domains. This is a position for candidates with research and development (R&D) program management experience. In this role, you will provide key program management and pursuit support enabling NCT technical staff to win and deliver innovative solutions to customers in the Networking domain. For pursuit activities, you will work directly with our tech director to meet with customers, pursue new applied research concepts, and develop winning proposals as the capture manager. As the program manager for new awards, you will work collaboratively with our principal investigators (PI) to help coordinate resources, track progress, facilitate collaboration, and ensure on-time delivery within budget. Your leadership and organizational skills will empower our engineers and scientists to push boundaries and meet critical customer needs.
What you will do:
Manage the pre-proposal pursuit process across multiple early-concept opportunities with various government R&D customers.Lead capture on proposal responses to BAAs and RFPs to include managing the capture, coordinating with subcontractors, collaborating with the technical team to write the technical volume, working with internal contracts and finance teams to produce the cost volume.Coordinate extensively across technical and functional support staff to enable on-time, on-budget deliveryTranslate and track customer needs, and advise technical experts and senior leaders on optimal solutionsMonitor spending, staffing, schedules, contracts, purchases, and deliverablesManage schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure execution within cost targetsIdentify, track, and escalate program risks and issues for mitigationFacilitate collaboration through clear communication and information sharingEmploy PM best practices and tools to maintain alignment across complex projectsDeliver regular project updates and insights to stakeholders and leadershipLead review meetings, inform decision making, and coordinate across project interdependenciesDrive achievement of milestones through resource planning and progress trackingWhat you will gain:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
