Technical Program Manager II, Data Management and Automation, Google Cloud

This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date. **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in the technology industry in a program management, business operations, customer support, account management, business development, marketing, or consulting role. **Preferred qualifications:** + Master’s degree or a related field. + 5 years of experience in technical program management, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related technical role, with a focus on data-intensive projects. + Experience in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis. + Understanding of financial principles, cost accounting, budgeting, and cost management practices, in a large-scale capital expenditure or infrastructure environment (e.g., construction, manufacturing). As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Build Cost Reduction Program (BCRP) is an initiative chartered to significantly reduce the cost and increase the speed of building Google's data center infrastructure. This program consolidates efforts across multiple cross-functional teams, creating a unified strategy to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving opportunities at scale. The BCRP team collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to drive efficiency and maximize value in our data center build processes. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
