**Job Description:**
**Basic Function**
Manage ongoing Research & Development (R&D) program(s) and technology initiatives. Work jointly with engineering, supply chain, operations, marketing, and end-customers to maintain schedules for development projects. Basic function consists of utilizing technical and program management skills, working independently to manage a cross-functional team, and providing program updates to members of the business unit and engineering leadership teams along with other management personnel.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Lead cross-functional/multi-discipline teams in the Brooks Phase-Gate process to effectively deliver projects in accordance with the ITW-Brooks roadmap.
+ Manage and execute approved operational and organizational initiatives assuring adherence to specified/planned goals including financial and task due dates.
+ Lead in the development of detailed project plans associated with approved initiatives and their stated objectives.
+ Assist in the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses required for corresponding opportunities and investments.
+ Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders while assertively driving results of specified initiatives.
+ Recognize and remediate challenges to established plans. In the event of challenges that will result in the non-adherence of planned goals, articulate the specific challenge, potential remediation opportunities and quantification of those potential solutions to senior management.
+ Develop and maintain project Gantt charts in a timely manner.
+ Participate in Company continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Regular attendance.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelors degree in a technical engineering discipline preferred.
+ PMI Certification preferred. PMP or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) desired.
+ Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project/program management of complex cross functional new product development required.
+ Product experience with electrical/mechanical/control system devices preferred.
+ Strong Leadership & Communication skills.
+ Previous Semiconductor or Industrial Technology Business Process background preferred.
+ Experience working in a global manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Excellent Financial aptitude, and experience with project estimation, budgeting, and scheduling
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills required.
+ Must be collaborative in approach, assertive, objective, and have ability to influence outcomes.
+ Ability to be flexible and deal effectively with change in order to balance competing business needs and priorities.
