Are you looking to work at the forefront of AI tools that solve real problems for Amazonians?
Amazon Foundational AI Applications, part of Enterprise Engineering, designs, develops, and operates AI-enhanced business productivity applications that help Amazonians focus on high-value work. We are blazing the trail -- identifying new ways to work that large language models (LLMs) can support -- and building tools that help.
We're creating tools that connect to, collect, interpret, and summarize data from internal data sources. We take that knowledge and turn it into summaries and insights that can be used for report writing, trend analysis, and more - solving hard problems that might otherwise require tedious searching, data assembly, retyping and reformatting.
Our major initiatives for 2026:
We are thinking big, reimagining Kingpin as a brand-new application that not only meets current needs, but forms the centerpiece of an AI-centric suite of tools that support every goal across Amazon and not just collect data, but also help create insights.
We're inventing and simplifying by creating new ways for Amazonians to be productive by building an audio production studio that lets customers review documents on the go.
We're building what's next. Join us!
Key job responsibilities
You will be at the forefront of communication with the customers of our products. For Kingpin, hundreds of thousands of Amazonians use it to track and report their goal progress; dozens of financial professionals use this data to analyze Amazon priorities and progress, and S-Team members use these analyses to make strategic decisions.
You'll synthesize customer feedback, help prioritize features, and communicate our progress with each new feature.
You'll meet with our customers and understand what their needs are, and help distill and clarify them into actionable solutions.
You'll **use** the tools we build, too, and provide your own perspective on how to make them better.
A day in the life
You'll meet with our product managers to communicate the latest customer feedback, determine best priorities, and work with our development team to determine its place in the delivery schedule.
You'll work with senior leaders to understand their data needs, and you'll also provide weekly updates to our product interest lists to keep our customers informed and excited about what's coming next. You'll contribute to and update our strategic roadmap and help us stay focused on delivery.
About the team
The EE Foundational AI Applications team (EE-FAA) is a team focused on business applications of AI technologies - fact extraction, inferences, and how these tools can make LLMs more useful.
Our team thinks about unmet needs in business units that may not have their own development teams, so we build complete products that can be used out of the box.
This is an exciting time in AI for big thinkers - the frontier of productivity is in making use of data that isn't public - specialized data generated by Amazonians every day as they build for customers.
