We are currently looking for a Technical Product Support Manager to join our Commercial team in the Midlands to ensure development is focussed on profitable products with a confirmed market and predicted profitability return. Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Customers and Technical as appropriate, this role will support the unit role out of products and provide Technical guidance/expertise for a products and applications, to add value for the business and customers or when issues arise.
This is a regional role covering the Midlands ideally based out of The Hub at Tarmac Mountsorrel, near Loughborough however with other sites across the region if you live in Leicester, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Wolverhampton or Coventry then this role may suit you.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Area Commercial Manager, the role of Technical Product Support Manager will be responsible for ensuring knowledge transfer across regions on slow moving stock solutions, from both a technical and end user / market prospective as well as regular liaison and support to selected Local Authorities, targeted Key Contractors and National Contracting in sector and/ geographical locations to increase VAP sales. Another key element of this role is intelligent focussed VAP promotion based on national and local targets with based on projected profit / return at specific supply units.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Technical Product Support Manager will demonstrate a good knowledge of Aggregate and Asphalt production methods as well as experience and a good understanding of the industry as well as Tarmac current product availability. Candidates should also evidence a focus on future needs and opportunities as well as possess a strong knowledge of current Aggregate and Asphalt testing methods and a working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and procedures.
