This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable, and secure technologies to meet the goals of the enterprise technology organization. They will assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of business-critical technology support, specifically around supply chain and inventory solutions. It will be their job to collaborate with world class speed to the changing needs of the stores, in turn providing a quality Starbucks Experience to fulfill our mission to nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection.
This role will collaborate with Supply Chain peers by spearheading technology-driven initiatives and rapid response that enhance our operational efficiency, sustainability practices and overall business performance on a global scale. To be successful, this candidate needs to have significant technical acumen and experience along with a passion for delighting product users with simple solutions and engaging digital experiences.
As a technical product manager sr. you will…
Manage product planning and development through day-to-day, cross-functional collaboration Translate customer experience into technical requirements and product solutions Drive technical solutions for large features/technically complex features independently Create data flows and functional and technical specifications as needed Be responsible for defining the acceptance criteria of a product feature Be responsible for documentation of requirements and acceptance criteria per process, and provide guidance to others in the working team Work with producers, engineering, and QA to align on feature sizing and delivery planning Ensure engineering team has needed information on endpoints, inputs and outputs Help resolve technical blocking issues and coordinate solutions across multiple technical teams Perform validation of feature against customer and business goals and acceptance criteria Determine technical feasibility, dependencies, and constraints of features with support from neighboring technology teams as needed Identify technical tradeoffs, escalate risks, and manage mitigation in collaboration with other teams Communicate effectively with technology and business teams independently Act as a coach/mentor to team on various technical product manager competencies Define product performance and effectiveness metrics that measure and benchmark product success Monitor feature performance to find opportunities to address continuous improvement Drive optimization and process improvements between product, design, and development teams Stay abreast of new technology capabilities and leverage knowledge in contributing to product innovations and solutions Work with product managers to scope and prioritize upcoming projects into the roadmap Manage a cross-team digital product roadmap Build effective relationships with key internal engineering, product and design teamsWe’d love to hear from people with
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field Demonstrated ability to use analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization (5+ years) Demonstrated ability to work with design and engineering to deliver customer facing features (5+ years) Hands on experience in developing roadmaps, priorities, features, story outlines, writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, changing environment with variety of stakeholders (5+ years) Industry experience in a technology environment with a record of successfully delivering complex products (7+ years)Preferred Qualifications
