Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Product Manager to oversee client relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely reporting on progress, status, and financials. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining product pricing, managing forecasts and manufacturing demand, and leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver milestones on schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate product pricing across accounts.Manage forecasts and manufacturing demand in collaboration with manufacturing teams and clients.Lead engineers and technicians to deliver milestones on schedule.Prepare and oversee plans, schedules, and budgets for approval.Drive successful project management, including setup, execution, and closure of projects aligned with client proposals and quality processes.Establish and embed products into manufacturing, working closely with engineers, suppliers, designers, and SMEs.Ensure products perform to specification, budget, and schedule requirements.Play a leading role in establishing and improving manufacturing processes.Delegate and guide junior engineers and cell staff, fostering high standards of quality.Collaborate with suppliers to develop new parts and resolve quality issues.Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5-10 years of experience in Product/Project Management of Medical Devices.Knowledge of ISO, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations.Experience in product management, engineering, project management, and program management.Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, quality control, project planning, and manufacturing engineering.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with medical devices.Willingness to travel outside of the US for 2-3 weeks at a time.Knowledge of product development process and life cycle.Experience in process improvement.Work Environment
This role is based at an Australian-owned contract manufacturing medical device company with a great culture. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM on site. You will be part of a team of 3 Project Managers and report on site to the manager, with potential collaboration with the team in Australia.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $86.50/hr.
